LP of Douglas County Meeting 3/2/17: Grassroots Lobbying

Join the Douglas County Libertarian Party on the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at On the Rox Bar & Grill in Parker, 11957 Lioness Way, Parker, CO 80134.

On the Rox has generously agreed to give us a private room area where we will be able to communicate and socialize with much less distraction than at our previous location.

OUR TOPIC THIS MONTH IS: Grassroots Lobbying, a discussion with LPCO Legislative Director Michael Stapleton.

Before coming to the meeting Michael would like you to consider these questions:

How many elected Legislators make up the Colorado General Assembly?
How many State House districts are there?
How many State Senate Districts are there?
What is your State House District and who is your State House Rep?
What is your State Senate District and who is your State Senator.
How many days long is the Colorado Legislative Session?

You don't have to be from Douglas County, or even be Libertarian to join us... (it helps, and we do chat about libertarian topics most of the time) ...but we do request that if you have fun, you let a friend know, or bring a friend to the next one! Topics will include items of general libertarian interest and organization for local activism to make a difference in our political landscape.

We're looking forward to seeing you there!
